Changing or Transfer Students

CHANGING STUDENTS

After enrolling a course in NPIC, students could change their course. However, they have to decide as soon as possible because from the second semester of the first year, students cannot change it anymore.

Note that to allow the students to change their course, NPIC need a prove from the students' parent as well.

Moreover, students could change to a course in the same level, e.g. from bachelor of Electronics to bachelor of Mechanics.

In case, students want to change from high diploma to bachelor degree course, they have to have high school certification and have to fully pay the tuition fee of bachelor course.

In contrast, if students want to change from a bachelor to high diploma course, students have to prove reasonable explanation to the student affairs.

TRANSFER STUDENTS

It is possible for students who want to transfer from other universities to NPIC. Note that to be able to transfer to NPIC, students have to meet the following conditions:

1. Students who completed the foundation year or are studying in the 2nd year in other universities are permitted to transfer to NPIC to join the 2nd year of the same course and degree. Moreover, they have to pass all subjects in the fundation year.

2. Students cannot transfer to join higher than 2nd year of any course in NPIC. The reason is that students in NPIC are studying Korean and English from the 1st year. Also they are studying 6 hours a day and 5 days a week whereas other universities offers 3 hours a day. As our experience, students who transfered to join the 2nd years could barely follow the NPIC students.

3. In case of students who completed high diploma in other universities, they are permitted to transfer to NPIC but to join only the 2nd semester of the 2nd year of bachelor degree.
